Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Senior Ionic Angular
Developer to take a leading role for our B2B web application. Candidate should have 5-10 years of hands-on experience in architecting, developing, and deploying complex front-end solutions. This role is fundamental to our team's success, requiring you to drive technical excellence, mentor other developers, and translate sophisticated business requirements into robust, scalable, and high-performance code.
Key Responsibilities:
• Architectural Leadership: Lead the design and architecture of new features and systems for our Ionic Angular web application, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with long-term product vision.
• Advanced Development: Spearhead the development of complex user-facing features, writing clean, reusable, and efficient code that sets the standard for the team.
• Technical Mentorship: Mentor junior and mid-level developers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical guidance, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
• Process Ownership: Take ownership of the front-end development lifecycle, from technical planning and estimation to deployment and maintenance, ensuring timely delivery of highquality software.
• API Integration & State Management: Design and implement robust strategies for API consumption (RESTful) and architect complex application state management to ensure a seamless and performant user experience.
• Payment Gateway Integration: Integrate secure and scalable payment solutions using the Stripe payment gateway and its APIs.
• GitLab Workflow Management: Champion best practices for version control using GitLab, including overseeing branching strategies and ensuring the quality and clarity of merge requests.
Innovation & Modern Practices:
• Explore and apply modern development methodologies, including "vibe coding" and leveraging AI-powered tools for rapid prototyping and problem-solving.
• Investigate and propose the integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) to introduce innovative, value-add features to our B2B platform.
• Performance & Optimization: Proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve complex performance bottlenecks and challenging bugs, ensuring the application remains fast and reliable for our enterprise clients.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Architectural Expertise: A deep understanding of front-end architecture, design patterns, and state management strategies in large-scale applications.
• Technical Skills: Expert proficiency in Angular 15, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS/SCSS with a proven track record of building sophisticated applications.
• Framework Expertise: Extensive, hands-on experience building and deploying complex web applications using the Ionic framework.
• Product Lifecycle Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the entire product development lifecycle in an agile environment, from ideation to deployment and support.
• Version Control & GitLab: Expert-level knowledge of Git and extensive experience with GitLab workflows, including managing merge requests and collaborative branching strategies.
• Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and mentor team members effectively.
• Problem-Solving: Advanced analytical and strategic problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle ambiguous requirements and complex technical hurdles.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Experience: 5-10 years of professional experience in front-end development, with a primary focus on building enterprise-grade applications with Angular.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Proven experience with state management libraries like NgRx.
• Demonstrable experience implementing comprehensive testing strategies with frameworks like Jasmine, Karma, or Cypress.
• Strong familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and the automation of build and deployment processes.
• Prior experience in a B2B or enterprise iPaaS environment is highly desirable.
• A keen interest and foundational understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and their potential application in software.
